     Florida’s housing market is certainly showing significant signs of improvement. In fact, “according to three U.S. economists, despite national and global economic headwinds, Florida’s real estate market is entering 2012 on an upward trend. One of those economists, Dr. Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors, stated “Many Florida markets are showing sharp drops in inventories of homes for sale - a sign that demand is picking up and prices are stabilizing. That's a major change from just a year ago," he said. "Buyers have stepped back into the Florida market."

Lee County Industrial Property Investors Get More For Less in 3Q

Buyers of Lee County industrial properties may be benefitting from more square footage for their money in third quarter of this year. An analysis of year to date industrial sales in the county resulted in a drop in weighted average PSF of over 30% between second quarter sales and third quarter sales ($25.58 PSF and $17.53 PSF respectively). Third quarter’s weighted average PSF was also lower than that of first quarter by nearly 10% with a similar total dollar volume and number of transactions.
